ShareSign for ChatGPT

E-signatures and data rooms, in ChatGPT.

Prepare an unsent agreement, find answers in your room files with page citations, and pick up saved work. Open ShareSign to review, send or sign.

Assistant access is included on Free, Pro and Business, within your plan’s resource limits. Free access has no trial expiry. Your ChatGPT account and organisation must allow the plugin.

Connect, then choose one task

  1. Add the public ShareSign plugin. The link below opens a separate tab so this guide stays here. Choose Install plugin, then Connect ShareSign. If it is already installed, choose Try in chat.
  2. Sign in and choose your business. Approve the permissions for your task. Installation alone grants no access and keeps your ShareSign plan unchanged.
  3. Return to ChatGPT with a question. Enable ShareSign in the conversation and ask it to confirm the connected business and approved access before retrieving records.

For a one-off signing task on Free, prepare the document directly in ShareSign. Each person applies their own signature and signing date.

Start with your data room or an agreement

Research your data room

Use files already in your intended room. Approve Browse data room files and Search inside room documents. Check the cited pages, later amendments and anything ChatGPT could not search.

Starting empty? Prepare a private room and add your files, then return to your question. Document-text search shares matching excerpts with your assistant provider.

Prepare an agreement for review

Start with your PDF or agreement text. A template is optional and follows your plan’s template access. Approve Read agreements and templates and Create and edit unsent agreement drafts for assistant draft preparation. Text authoring needs separate approval when your connection offers it.

If text authoring is unavailable, paste your agreement text in ShareSign and review the PDF and signers yourself. For an existing PDF that ChatGPT cannot transfer, upload it in ShareSign. No template is needed. Open the saved draft to check the document, recipients and fields, then choose Send when ready.

Keep the next step clear

An interrupted draft
Ask for the existing preparation and open its current ShareSign record before creating another. Keep later human edits. A chat attachment alone is not a saved ShareSign draft.
A connection needs attention
Check the connected business and approved permissions. Follow the connection recovery guide or continue directly in ShareSign if the required assistant access is unavailable.
Signing and sending
Prepared agreements stay unsent. You review and choose Send in ShareSign; recipients apply their own signatures, initials and signing dates. More assistant permissions do not change that handover.
Preparing for a fundraise
Research room documents and prepare agreements within your approved access. ShareSign also keeps your cap table and closing work. Check the tasks your connection offers; ownership records, invitations and publication have their own deliberate review steps in ShareSign.
