Cancel, then change your mind
How cancelling worksCancelling is one screen in Settings, Billing, and it shows what you would give up before anything ends: the month you are in, your discount against the list price, and the date to come back by and carry on where you were.
Until the period you paid for ends, Resume puts it back: the same price and the same months. The workspace owners get the same in an email.

Change the reminders after sending
How reminders workOn a document that is out for signature, the reminders now show under the deadline, with the date of the next one and Change beside them: every 2 or 3 days, weekly, after 3 and 7 days, or none.
The new days count from when each signer's turn began, and days already past are skipped. Moving the deadline carries the reminders to the new date. Through the API,
POST /v1/documents/{id}/remindersdoes the same. - NewEvery plan
Signed PDFs, filed in your own Dropbox
Connect DropboxOn Pro and Business, connect your Dropbox once and every signed PDF is filed there when the last person signs, with its certificate, named after the document and the day it was signed.
Connect it from Settings, Filing. Files go to Apps, ShareSign in your Dropbox. That one folder is all ShareSign can see: it cannot read, list or change anything else, and Dropbox says so on the screen where you allow it. A second document with the same name is numbered, so nothing is ever overwritten. A document that completed before you connected can be filed from its own page.
If your workspace keeps its documents in the EU, you are told before connecting that filing copies each signed PDF out to your Dropbox; the copy in ShareSign stays where it is. If Dropbox stops accepting files, the owners are emailed once and the document's page offers File again. Disconnecting removes our access at both ends and leaves your files where they are.

Templates keep their own reminders and deadline, and the API can move a deadline
Read the guideA template can now carry its own schedule: how long its documents stay open, and when signers are reminded, including never. Set it once in the template editor and every document made from that template starts that way, from the app, a public link, a bulk send, the API or an agent.
Whoever sends a document can still change its schedule before sending, and that never alters the template. Templates you already have are unchanged: 30 days, with reminders on day 3 and day 7.
For developers: one API call now moves a document's deadline or reopens one that expired, under the same rules as the document page. It takes a time with its zone and a key that is allowed to send. Webhooks hear

How reminders and deadlines workIn the last step before sending you now choose how long a document stays open, from 7 to 90 days, and when signers are reminded: after 3 and 7 days, every 2 or 3 days, every week, or never. Each signer's reminders count from when their turn starts, and nobody is reminded twice in a day.
Signers see the date to sign by in their email and on the signing page. The day before a document closes, whoever is still waiting gets a last call and you are told who has and has not signed. If they need longer, move the deadline from the document page. If it has already expired, reopen it: the same links work, and anyone who had signed does not sign again.

Claude, ChatGPT or your own agent can prepare your documents
Connect an agentShareSign now connects to AI assistants. Add it as a connector in claude.ai, Claude Desktop or ChatGPT, sign in, and the assistant can find your templates, draft a document from one or from its own PDF, place the fields where the document asks for them, and tell you what is waiting for a signature.
An agent prepares and a person presses Send: your documents list and the document itself say it is ready to send and who prepared it. Sending, reminding, voiding and deleting stay with you unless you make a key with that one permission ticked, on purpose. An agent never receives a signing link or the text of your documents. It comes with Pro and Business.

An API, with TypeScript and Python clients and signed webhooks
Connect your toolsEverything the dashboard does, your own code can now do: create documents from a PDF or a template, send them, remind, read status, and fetch the signed PDF and its audit trail. There are official clients for TypeScript and Python, signed webhooks that retry and tell you if they are paused, and idempotency keys so a call repeated after a timeout is never done twice.
A test key is free on every plan: it signs for real, emails nobody and counts for nothing. Live keys come with Pro, which includes 50 documents a month sent through the API, and with Business, which has no monthly limit. Keys are made in Settings, Developers.

Send Word files, photos and scans, and several files as one document
How sending worksA document no longer has to start as a PDF. Upload a Word or OpenDocument file, a photo from your phone, or a scan, and it becomes a PDF before you place a field, so you approve exactly what your signer will see. Rotated and cropped pages are drawn and stamped the way they are displayed.
A document can also be made of up to ten files: a contract and its schedules go out together, are signed as one continuous document, and the certificate names every original. And the editor now reads the document and offers a field wherever it asks for a signature, a date or a name; one click accepts them.

Sign a sample in your first minute
Open your documentsA workspace with no documents yet offers a sample: one page addressed to you, with its fields already placed. Press Try it with a sample, sign it on your own signing page, and you are holding a completed PDF with its certificate: the whole product, start to finish, in under a minute.
The sample emails nobody and does not count against your plan.

Documentation, a status page, and support from inside the app
Read the documentationShareSign now has documentation in plain words: how sending and signing order work, how a signature holds up, templates, copies and hand-offs, languages, connecting your tools, and where your data lives. Every claim on the site links to the page that backs it.
If something is wrong, write to us from the Support page, with screenshots, without leaving the app; signers can report a document from their signing page. Whether ShareSign itself is up is at status.sharesign.co, where you can subscribe to incidents.

Signed PDFs carry names in 24 scripts
Read the guideSigned PDFs now carry names in 24 scripts, adding Sinhala, Georgian, Armenian, Amharic, Khmer, Lao, Burmese and Tibetan. Whatever script a signer types in is drawn as real text in a font made for it, and reads back exactly as typed.
Replies from signers who use tagged addresses, such as name+lease@example.com, now reach you: their mail provider answers from the plain address, and the private reply relay knows the two are one mailbox. The new guides on languages and scripts, and on replies and keeping your address private, cover both.

Delete documents with 30 days to change your mind, and a sender app that fits your phone
Open documentsYou can now delete a document, not only void it. Deleted documents sit in Recently deleted for 30 days, where one click brings them back; after that the files and audit trail are removed for good. Deleting a document that is out for signature withdraws it first, so signing links stop working and nobody gets an email. If it was already completed, everyone who signed keeps the PDF they were sent, and we offer you a download before you confirm.
Sending from a phone works properly: the menu never runs off the edge, dialogs slide up from the bottom, and the editor walks you through people, fields, and review one step at a time. Your account button shows your initials in the same ink as everything else.

Yearly plans: refund window, renewal notice, founding places
Open billingYearly billing is now the headline price, and month to month costs a little more. If you pay for a year and change your mind, you can refund it in full from billing settings for 14 days, no questions asked.
Thirty days before a yearly plan renews, the workspace owner gets an email with the amount and the date. The first 500 workspaces to choose yearly Pro keep that price for as long as they stay subscribed.

Founding members: your price, kept in code
See your founding statusThe first 500 workspaces on yearly Pro keep their per-person price for as long as they stay. That promise is now enforced wherever a price is calculated: adding a seat, switching to Business and back, or renewing all use the locked amount.
Founding members get everything added to Pro in future at that price, and see new Pro features first. A failed card or a month away does not cost the place; it is held for 30 days after a cancellation. Each place has a number, and the promise arrives by email the day it is taken.

Send one more for $3, no subscription
See document creditsThe free plan now has a door where the wall used to be. When the month's free sends are used, you can buy a document credit and send the one in front of you. A credit is $3, never expires, and is shared by everyone in the workspace.
If you buy credits and switch to Pro in the same month, what you spent comes off your first Pro invoice. Nobody is punished for trying the cheap route first. Every credit shows in billing with the document it sent.

Every figure carries its source and the date we checked it. Where a competitor is ahead, the page says so. A test in our own suite fails if we ever stop being the better deal where we claim to be.

Your logo and colour on every email and signing page
Set up brandingBusiness workspaces can add a logo, an accent colour, a sender name, and a reply-to address. Signers see your brand, not ours, and the "powered by" line can be switched off.
Upload a logo and we pick out its colours for you. If an accent would be hard to read, we say so before you save it. A test email shows exactly what recipients will get.

Keep documents in the EU
Check your regionEach workspace has a data region. Visitors from the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland get the EU region by default, and every file for that workspace stays there.
The region can be changed until the workspace holds documents, then it locks. It applies on the free plan too.

Copy recipients on every plan, free
Send a documentAdd people who should receive the signed document without signing it. They are told when it is sent, can follow progress, and get the completed PDF.
You can add copies before sending, after sending, or after completion. Copies are listed on the certificate. Other tools charge for this. We do not.

Eight signature styles
Save your signatureTyping a signature now offers eight handwriting typefaces with a live preview. Your choice is remembered for next time, and initials follow the same style.
Save a signature once in your profile and reuse it with one tap whenever you sign.

Templates
Open templatesSave any document as a template with its fields and roles. Sending from a template takes three clicks: pick it, name the people, send.
Roles can be fixed to a person who is always the same, such as your own countersignature. Merge tags fill names and dates in for you.

Security review, fixes shipped
An adversarial review of the whole product found and closed a set of issues before launch: double-submit and decline guards under row locks, token and status checks on every signer route, rate limiting on public endpoints, upload hardening, and stricter security headers.
The audit trail is append-only at the database level and hash-chained, so a tampered record fails verification. Every file's SHA-256 is stored and printed on the certificate.

Plans, billing, and regional prices
See plansPro and Business plans are live with monthly and yearly billing through Stripe. Prices adjust to purchasing power outside the EU, so a team in India or Mexico pays less than one in the United States.
Plan changes apply in place with proration. Usage limits on the free plan reset monthly and are counted atomically, so a burst of sends cannot slip past them.
