Plans and billing

How paid plans are charged: monthly or yearly, the price that falls the longer you stay, refunds, and credits for one more document.

The longer you stay, the less you pay

On Pro and Business, monthly and yearly alike, the price falls the longer a workspace stays subscribed without a break. The list price does not change; the discount is a line on each receipt, and Settings, Billing shows the month you are in and when the next step begins.

Months 1 to 3The list price.
Months 4 to 125% off.
Months 13 to 2410% off.
Months 25 to 4815% off.
Month 49 onwards20% off. This is the lowest price.
Paying yearlyThe first year is the yearly price, already the cheaper way to pay. The second year is 10% off it, the third and fourth are 15% off, and the fifth and every one after it are 20% off.
If you cancelThe clock starts again. A new subscription starts at the list price and counts from month one. The only exception: subscribe again within 30 days and you carry on from where you were, and the days away do not count.
What is not a stopSwitching between monthly and yearly, moving between Pro and Business, adding or removing seats, or a card that fails and is paid on a retry. Your place stays, and so does your discount.
A refundThe refunded time does not count towards your place.
Founding placesThe discount comes off the founding price too, so a founding member always pays the least.
Document creditsStay at their price.

Monthly or yearly

Every paid plan can be paid monthly or yearly, and yearly costs less: the pricing page shows both. Switching from monthly to yearly credits the months already paid. A plan renews until it is cancelled, and a cancelled plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for.

Refunds

A yearly plan can be refunded in full within 14 days of the payment, once per workspace, from Settings, Billing. We email the workspace owner at least 30 days before a yearly plan renews, with the price the renewal will charge.

One more document

On a plan with a monthly document allowance, a credit sends one more document once the allowance is used. Credits do not expire and belong to the workspace.
