Exploring the examples
Explore six workflows without an account. Each example is fictional and read-only, with stages you can compare and tables you can download.
Choose a workflow
Open a cohort, cap table, fund, deal, closing or client example.
Open Examples and choose Cohorts, Cap table, Funds, Deals, Closings or Clients. Each has a starting point and a next step. You can explore them in any order.
The serious examples use made-up companies. The Silicon Valley examples draw on the show’s characters and companies, with illustrative figures and programme details.
Compare its stages
See what changes through funding, calls, offers, release and receipts.
Select a stage to see the example at that point. A cap table shows founding shares, an option grant and a seed issue. A fund shows commitments, a capital call and a partial receipt. A deal shows sealed and opened offers. A closing shows held signatures and its released checklist. A client example separates a retainer, a receipt and a refund.
Each amount has its own label. Issued ownership and fully diluted ownership use different denominators; commitments, called amounts and received money stay separate.
Start your own workspace
Choose the areas you need and leave optional activities for later.
Press Start free when you are ready. Choose the areas you need, skip optional onboarding or return to it later. Fundraising is optional. Examples stay separate from your workspace.
Each example also links to its guide, where the plan and steps for using the workflow are explained.
